Romeos (2011)
It's in my opinion one of the best titles out there dealing with the topic of transsexuality and even homosexuality.
What is important and what this movie does so well, is dealing with the topic so problematic for any transgendered person that was ever attracted to someone of the same gender; which is, how to explain to others that being attracted to a woman doesn't make you a man - but feeling like a man does. Rick Okon does an amazing job - up to googling him I couldn't find out whether he is male or female in real life (the perfectly done breasts confused me) and I'm ashamed that I was focusing on this so much because it just shows once more how binary-minded we are about sex and gender, even though this topic is personal to me. However - for not being transgendered himself, the actor really gets the pain, the frustration, everything that is behind the feeling of not fitting in such a basic category system.
I was also pleased with the development of other characters. In a love story, a view-point (and actually the whole life) of someone's best friend can get easily overlooked and I like how they dealt with it. The role of Fabio was also great and the scene with the trans-girl singing was just beautiful.

Basically, if this movie would go on for another two hours, I would keep staring :)
Salos (2012)
Rene (Paolo Rivero) is 30. He runs a business that his family has left for him. Though relatively well off, Rene keeps to himself. He leads a solitary, albeit lonely life. He also employs a driver Levi (Kristofer King) who waits for him all day. And he harbors affection on Levi who unfortunately is in a committed relationship..
Wanna know the ending? Take a cup of coffee and enjoy the movie right now, guys :)
Harvest (2011)
"The first time when two main characters sit in the abandoned car is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen in any movie. They hardly say a word, it's all in their eyes and in the way they move. Jacob is especially appealing, but both guys are excellent. This movie is far more sensual than movies with nudity and sex"
I watched it all the way through in one sitting because I didn't want to miss any of it. Loved the movie.
Eating out (2011)
Zack and Casey's relationship is in a slump, but things are about to change at Dick Dickey's Drama Camp. Zack meets gorgeous Benji, and when they get cast as lovers in a sexed-up version of The Taming of the Shrew, their self-restraint is put to the test. Will Zack and Casey's relationship last with Benji in the picture?
I loved the trilogy. The main characters were always quirky and funny, not to mention sexy.
August (2011)
August tells the story of two former lovers, Troy and Jonathan, who reunite after a long ago painful breakup. After spending several years in Spain, Troy returns to Los Angeles and decides to phone Jonathan and meet for coffee. A seemingly innocent rendezvous turns into an attempt to revive passions past. Only this time it's not that simple as Jonathan has a new beau, Raul, and is trying to make the right decision a second time around.
I strongly recommend this film :)
The one (2011)
"A man who has a perfect life with good job, parents, career and soon to be wife. He cannot screw that up and cannot reach his real-love with an old classmate boy-friend.."
There are more than one reasons why I loved this film. The story is very close to my heart and it was handled so beautifully. It might not have the highest or best of the production values but it was hundred times better than the usual crap US cinema throws at us in the name of gay cinema. The story is pretty simple actually, but the treatment is very different here and so many surprises thrown.

It is just too good !

Judas kiss (2011)
Failed filmmaker Zachary Wells is convinced by his best friend and hotshot director Topher into replacing him as a judge in their film school's annual festival. Zach's one-night stand with a student backfires when that student walks into an interview the next morning calling himself Danny Reyes, the name Zach went by when he attended the school. And Danny's film, "Judas Kiss," is a finalist in the competition Zach is judging. Zach's film, also "Judas Kiss," won the festival years before. As Zach scrambles for answers, a mysterious, chain-smoking campus tour guide, counsels him: "Change the kid's past, change your future." But how? Zach comes to believe he can mend his life by disqualifying Danny from competition, putting him on a different path than Zach followed. But will Zach's plan work?

Nine lives (2004)
Lust and dysfuntion come full circle in this collection of nine steamy scenes exploring gay life, sex...
The director deliberately chose to use graphic sex as a way of telling the story. I'm curious to the folks out in cyberspace... If you saw this movie, do you think that the sex scenes were neccesary or do your think that it went overboard and that it was porno? I liked the movie. I'm interested in what others who have seen it think.
Is it just me (2010)
I just watch this gay movie last week and was quite surprised at how good it was !
In "Is it just me (2010)", you have the self-deprecating nerd (Blaine), the perfect dream guy (Xander), the jock who's more focused on sex (Cameron), the older eccentric guy who's lived his life alone, the understanding female close friend. All of the characters are likable and relatable in some way. The movie does not judge any of them, and there's no bad guy inside.

PS: I was shocked to see it only got 5/10 stars on IMDB.
I mean this is at lest 8 stars or more :(

Lost in Paradise (2011)
Khoi, a naive twenty-year-old, travels to Ho Chi Minh City from the countryside to begin a new life. It's his first time in the big city and he's looking for a place to live. He befriends Dong, a handsome extrovert who offers to share his apartment. When Khoi goes to check the place out, he meets Lam, who also appears to be living there. Khoi decides to stay, but while he showers, Dong and Lam - who turn out to be boyfriends - run off with all his cash and belongings. It's not long before Lam is himself abandoned by Dong, and winds up back on the street as a prostitute. Meanwhile the penniless and disillusioned Khoi takes on menial jobs to survive. Lam and Khoi are eventually reunited, and despite Lam's past actions, the two become closer and closer - even though Khoi becomes more and more troubled by Lam's dangerous source of income. At the same time, Cuoi, a mentally handicapped man abandoned by his family...
I watched it a few days ago, and I was moved to tears. It is a great movie. I love everything about it especially the music. In fact, it is the best Vietnamese movie I've ever seen. The story is simple, but it attracts viewers because it's REAL. I was most impressed with the prostitute. Just looking at her sad eyes made me have many mixed emotions. The story of the prostitute and the Smile man may not relate well with the love story of the two main characters. However, their acting is impressive. The ending is sad. I had expected this movie would not have a happy ending before watching it. However, when I saw the ending, I couldn't stop my tears ( sorry for being too sentimental).
Highly recommend!

Asian Gay Kamasutra - What a look !
"The Kama Sutra is an ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior. A portion of the work consists of practical advice on sexual intercourse. "Kama" means sensual or sexual pleasure, and "sutra" literally means a thread or line that holds things together, and more metaphorically refers to an aphorism (or line, rule, formula), or a collection of such aphorisms in the form of a manual. REC (2011)
"Young-joon and Joon-seok decide to create a memory they never had in celebration of their 5th year. They go to a motel and record their precious memory in a camcorder. The night gets deeper and their love turns into something else..."
A gay couple makes videos for themselves in celebration of their 5th anniversary. Looking back in the past, they both promise never changing love for each other. However, as time passes, it simply feels like today is going to be the last for them. The small motel room is soon filled with the memories and remorse they both shared. A short film by So Joon-moon from "Auld Lang Syne", It describes the parting of a homosexual couple through the medium of video. Shocking self-images, sexual scenes, and the performance of the actors add to the reality of the movie.
